Production Planner — Privacy Policy

Last Updated: June 14, 2026

In this Privacy Policy (“Policy”), references to “We,” “Us,” or “Our” refer to Cortney Harrington DBA CineLeopard. This Policy explains how We handle your data when you use Production Planner (“Our App”), a native macOS application for organizing AI-video pre-production.

The short version: We do not collect anything. Your data stays on your Mac, except for the requests you choose to send to third-party AI providers using your own API keys.

1. Introduction

This Policy applies to Our processing of your personal information when you access and use Our App. Production Planner runs entirely on your device and stores your work locally. We, the developer, operate no servers, no accounts, and no analytics. The only data that leaves your Mac is content you explicitly choose to send to a third-party AI provider you have configured with your own key, as described below. This Policy does not extend to those providers or any other external service; We encourage you to review their policies before using them.

2. What Data We Collect

Personal Information: We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information through Our App. Production Planner does not require account creation, sign-in, or registration of any kind, and contains no analytics, advertising, tracking, or telemetry.

Projects & Content: Your projects, scripts, scenes, shots, and prompts are stored in a local database in your Application Support directory (~/Library/Application Support/ProductionPlanner/). Generated and imported images are copied into that same folder. Reference folders you explicitly link remain in their original location and are accessed in place with your permission via macOS security-scoped bookmarks. None of this is transmitted to Us.

API Keys: Keys you enter for third-party AI providers are stored only in the macOS Keychain on your device, marked “this device only” so they are not included in encrypted backups or synced off your Mac. They are used solely as authorization headers for the requests you initiate. We never see, receive, or store your keys.

Support Requests: If you contact Us for support via email, We may receive your email address and any information you choose to include. This is used solely to respond to your request and is not shared with third parties or used for marketing.

3. Third-Party AI Providers

Production Planner is a “bring your own keys” app. When you choose to run an AI feature — such as breaking down a script, generating an image prompt, or generating an image — Our App sends the content required for that request (for example your script text or prompt) directly from your Mac to the AI provider you configured with your own key, over HTTPS. These requests do not pass through any server operated by Us.

Depending on your settings and the feature you use, that provider is one or more of the following. Your use of these services is governed by their own privacy policies and terms, which We encourage you to review:

4. How We Use Your Data

We do not collect, store, or use any of your personal data or content. All projects, prompts, images, and keys remain on your device or are sent only to the third-party providers you choose, as described above. Our App performs its organizing functions locally using native macOS frameworks and communicates with no servers operated by Us.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

Production Planner is offered as an auto-renewable monthly subscription. All billing, payment processing, refunds, and subscription management are handled directly by Apple through the Mac App Store. We never see, receive, or store your payment information. Subscription status is verified locally on your device using Apple's StoreKit framework and is not transmitted to Us.

The subscription covers the App itself. Any charges for AI usage are incurred directly between you and the AI provider whose key you supply; We are not a party to those charges. You can cancel anytime through System Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions, and refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

6. Children's Privacy

Our App is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone. Since Our App does not collect personal information from any user, there is no risk of inadvertent collection of children's data. If a parent or guardian has concerns, they should contact Us at support@cineleopard.com.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If it changes, We will update the “Last Updated” date above and post the revised Policy at this URL. Your continued use of Our App after any changes indicates your agreement to the revised Policy.

8. Contact Us

If you have any questions about Our App or this Privacy Policy, please contact Us by email at support@cineleopard.com.
